This article first appeared in a blog I started called "Whiteadder's World" (8th April 2013), which was a forerunner to the site you are now visiting. It's a comparison between two greenheart fly rods of the late nineteenth century and points up one of the many innovations tackle makers were introducing, as well as the early mention of imported cane rods from America.
