In line with my fascination with post WW2 British reel makers, we now have a page exploring the fly reels of Grice & Young. Although the firm produced only a small variety of fly reels, which only turn up relatively rarely, each reel has a unique and interesting story to tell. A significant vote of thanks is due to Matt McHugh for putting me right on a couple of things I'd gone astray on when writing up this page. After completing the T. J. Harrington page I decided to turn my attention to another lesser know British reel maker, - Smith & Wall. This turned out to be a little more challenging than I'd thought, but you can read the results of my efforts under "British Reels". I've also been working on the "Links and Books" page, recycling some old book reviews from another website, - I'll be adding more to these as time goes by.
